Employee Well-Being Exchange August 2021 - Growth Mindset and Career Mobility

In this session the Employee Well-being Exchange will explore how employers can support employee’s sense of personal growth and the intersection with learning and development and career mobility. This will conclude our deep dive into the four relational drivers of well-being -- purpose, resilience, physical health, and growth -- that are inextricably linked the social fabric of our lives.

We will pull from the learnings of the i4cp Leadership Redefined series to learn how to measure, develop and reward leaders that focus on employee well-being, transparency and understanding. This conversation may touch on equitable opportunities for career mobility, supporting skill development across all ranks of the organization, and enabling lateral moves. We will also look at the Connected Talent toolkit to support successful role transformational and growth through networks.

Our guiding questions include:

  • How can we support role development and equitable opportunities?
  • How are performance management and well-being connected?
  • How are development opportunities and talent mobility connected to well-being?
  • How are you incentivizing the next generation of leaders in your organization?

• What is the new role of the office and how can it support well-being? • The employee experience of returning to work?

Building on groundbreaking research by both i4cp and Rob Cross, the Employee Well-Being Exchange is a peer-driven community working group that explores the relational sources of well-being, how personal networks impact this, and the tools to support individual performance and well-being.
