Community Involvement & Employee Experience

Our January meeting was a great start to the new year.

First, we talked with Board member from Johnson Controls, Karen Clay Basile, who represents her company on its Sustainability Council. Environmental, social and governance considerations have become a critical aspect of the employee experience (not to mention company success).   Karen was joined by Clay Nesler, VP of Global Sustainability to talk about Johnson Controls ESG  efforts, including their participation in The Digital Climate Alliance.

Then we were joined by David Vance, Executive Director at the Center for Talent Reporting, whose new book “Measurement Demystified: Creating Your L&D Measurement, Analytics, and Reporting Strategy” was just published last month. We talked about the impact of the new SEC regulations on TD as well as how measurement is being affected by the pandemic and what to do about that.
