Podcast: Religion and the Workplace

A few days ago, I wrote about the release of new research regarding religious workplace discrimination. The results found that a staggering amount of people have encountered or witnessed religious conflict between employees, and a fair percentage of instances where employees actually refused to work with someone based on their religious beliefs. Following that initial release, Anne Lindberg, a researcher at i4cp, wrote a great TrendWatcher titled, Mediating Religion Collisions in the Workplace.

The TrendWatcher draws upon sources beyond just i4cp research to examine how religious conflict arises, what companies are doing about it and what are some tips for human resources and managers alike to avoid or resolve such conflicts.

In addition, you can find out more about this subject by checking out this new article in Diversity Executive magazine (which includes an interview with Anne) and also this new podcast from TotalPicture Radio, which... also includes an interview with Anne. The podcast is just over 17 minutes long.
