Kevin Martin Joins i4cp as Chief Research & Marketing Officer

Highly sought after speaker and thought leader to oversee key growth areas in company's ongoing expansion

Seattle, WA (November 2, 2012) - The Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), the fastest-growing network of HR and business professionals focused on people practices that make high-performance organizations unique, is pleased to announce that Kevin Martin has joined the company as Chief Research & Marketing Officer. Martin joins i4cp from Aberdeen Group (a Harte Hanks Company) where he built the company’s human capital management (HCM) research practice and served in several roles, including VP and Principal Analyst for HCM, SVP of Research Operations, and most recently SVP of International Operations.

Martin is a highly sought-after speaker on all elements of workforce and talent management, has published more than 100 research assets (including papers, articles, webinars, videos, etc.) pertaining to best-practices in human capital management, and has extensive global experience in HCM. Immediately prior to Aberdeen, Martin spent 10 years in senior-level sales and marketing roles with companies that developed talent management solutions, including ComputerPREP (acquired by Prosoft Training.com) and TechOnLine (now part of CMP Media).

"I am ecstatic to have Kevin Martin join i4cp," said i4cp's CEO Kevin Oakes. "With his long history in the human capital industry―in addition to proven success in building and leading cutting edge research organizations―Kevin will play a critical role for us as i4cp continues to grow."

i4cp is well regarded for its research into the people practices of high-performance organizations and its vendor-free network of practitioners. Martin will build upon the company's value proposition and drill into critical challenges its member companies anticipate in the coming years so that i4cp can continue to provide actionable insights to overcome such challenges.

“An organization’s workforce holds the key to overall business agility and innovation, as well as value-added differentiation for its customers," said Martin. "The key is knowing where to focus efforts and how to execute, and i4cp is uniquely positioned to help organizations do both. I am very excited to join i4cp and am looking forward to helping the company deepen and broaden its value proposition to its growing network of business executives.”
