We will dive into leveraging research and data to hone your skills of persuasion and improve
how you are able to show up as a strategic leader in the role of CHRO. Leading
our discussion will be i4cp’s own Lorrie Lykins, Vice President of
Research. Lorrie has worked
in the field of human capital research for a decade, beginning with the Human
Resource Institute, and has published numerous articles, playbooks, case
studies, editorial features, and whitepapers on topics ranging from corporate
volunteerism to women in leadership, L&D, talent management, and talent
acquisition. An award-winning writer, Lorrie’s work has been featured in the
New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and she is a contributing author to
the books ATD's Foundations of Talent Development: Launching,
Leveraging, and Leading Your Organization's TD Effort (2018), The ASTD Leadership Handbook (2010), and Red, White, and True: Stories from Veterans and Families,
World War II to Present (2014).
We will spend time diving into Lorrie’s survey work and research on the way
CHROs are perceived in different organizations and what board members want to
see in a highly strategic CHRO.

half of this session, Mark Englizian will walk the group through some of your Intake
Assessments and explore how to leverage data and story-telling to your
