FAQs for In-Person Attendees


Where does the conference take place?

The conference will take place at the Fairmont Scottsdale. The Fairmont is located at 7575 E Princess Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is business casual. It likely will be warm/hot at outside events (including lunch) and cool inside. Please dress accordingly!

What is the check-in process?

Upon arriving at the hotel, please proceed to the Palomino Ballroom Foyer to get your name badge and receive attendee materials. Check-in opens at 7:30am on Monday, March 3 and closes at 7pm that day, in the Princess Ballroom Foyer (it’ll reopen Tuesday morning at 7:30am).

How do I download the conference app?

We strongly encourage you to download the official i4cp Conference app so you have ready access to the agenda, map of the hotel (it's easy to get lost!), access to digital resources, and the attendee list. To get set up:

  1. Get the i4cp Conference app (App Store or Google Play)
  2. Log in using your registration email
  3. You will then receive a two-factor verification code via email to complete the login process

I’m attending in-person but need to watch some sessions virtually. How do I do that?

All virtual sessions are accessible via the conference app. If you want to watch the sessions from your computer, you can also access the app via your browser. Please refer to the Virtual Conference FAQs below for further detail.

What does the in-person 2025 conference fee include?

If you're registered to attend the 2025 in-person conference, your pass includes attendance to all general sessions, breakfasts, lunches and evening social events. You'll also receive access to on-demand recordings for 60 days and to a library of digital resources. In short, we got you covered!

How do I watch the recordings?

Recordings will be made available the week after the conference, if not sooner. Recordings will remain exclusively available to conference attendees for 60 days.

You can log into the same Cvent Events platform you accessed when the event was happening live. Remember, you'll need to enter your name and the email addressed used during registration to connect. If you then don't receive the verification code, check your junk folder.

How do I access the virtual conference platform?

We recommend you log in early to avoid any day-of technical issues, and to set up your profile.

  1. Log into Cvent Events, our conference platform
  2. You’ll then receive a two-factor verification code to complete the login process
    Check your junk folder if you don't receive the email within a few minutes.

You can also download the i4cp Conference app in the App Store or Google Play.

Who do I contact for help?

If you need help accessing the platform or live feed, please email conference@i4cp.com.

How do I watch the live sessions?

Each day will be hosted on a continuous Zoom feed for easy viewing. You’ll find the link on the home screen and in the agenda, labeled "Virtual sessions."

What do I receive as a virtual attendee?

As a virtual attendee, you'll be able to access:

  • The live feed of most conference sessions (a couple highly interactive sessions require in-person attendance).
  • A library of digital resources
  • On-demand recordings for 60 days
  • The ability to connect with other attendees via the conference app

Who should attend i4cp's Next Practices Now Conference?

The conference is designed for senior-level HR, talent, learning, and diversity decision-makers from every industry and government sector. However, the conference is also a good opportunity for early-career HR professionals, as well as business leaders outside HR.

Why can't vendors or consultants attend?

To maintain a collaborative environment where attendees can talk openly about their business challenges, we maintain a strict practitioner-only policy. This is cited by many attendees as one of their favorite aspects of the conference.

What is the check-in process?

Upon arriving at the hotel, please proceed to the Princess Ballroom Foyer to get your name badge and receive attendee materials. Check-in opens at 7:30am on Monday, March 25 and closes at 7pm that day, in the Princess Ballroom Foyer (it’ll reopen Tuesday morning at 7:30am).

Can I or my team members receive HRCI or SHRM credits for attending?

Yes. i4cp is proudly recognized by SHRM and HRCI to offer recertification credit hours for all Next Practices Now virtual and in-person attendees. The conference qualifies for 13.25 HRCI credits and for 17.5 SHRM credits. Please visit the i4cp Conference app and virtual event platform for the respective program IDs.

How much does the conference cost?

Are group rates available?

Yes, group rates are available for in-person teams of 3+ individuals. There are also group rates for the virtual conference. Please contact us for group rate pricing.

Can I become a member to get the member rate?

i4cp membership requires an annual, enterprise-wide subscription. We do not offer individual memberships. If you're interested in having your organization become an i4cp member, please contact us.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend the conference, you're entitled to a refund minus a $100 administrative fee, or a credit for the full amount to be applied. Cancellations received after December 31, 2024 for the in-person event will not be refunded, as we'll have solidified our commitment to the hotel by this date. You are always welcome to transfer your registration to a colleague. You can also convert an in-person pass into three virtual passes.

Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?

Yes, we are always happy to transfer your registration to someone else. We'll need their name, email, job title, and phone number to make the change.

I'm an i4cp member but didn't attend the conference. Am I able to watch the recordings?

Conference recordings will be available exclusively to attendees for at least 60 days post-event.
