Diverse Leaders for Tomorrow

Persistent racial, social, and economic inequities that exist on a global scale were forced out of the shadows and into the spotlight in 2020. In response, many organizations moved from aspirational rhetoric to public DE&I goals, mostly in response to stakeholder demands and rulings on human capital data disclosure. Organizations will continue to feel increasing pressure to attain these stated goals, both at the corporate and board level, and held accountable to show significant progress against those goals.

In this session, the Executive Development Exchange explored how to develop and improve opportunities to support diverse talent to become future leaders.

Guiding Questions Included:

  • How do new corporate disclosure laws on demographics impact executive development?
  • How are organizations building accountability by tying executive compensation and rewards tied to diversity goals?
  • How are we supporting diverse talent to excel and raise to the top ranks of an organization?
