Workforce Planning Exchange October 2021 - The War for Talent: Attraction and Retention Requires a Focus on Culture, Purpose and Employer Brand

In today’s environment, it’s harder than ever to win over, much less keep, the best talent. In this session, the Workforce Planning Exchange will discuss how purpose, culture, and employer brand are imperative to attracting and retaining skilled talent. Workforce Planning must partner with other HR and business functions, including Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards to collectively execute on the talent strategy.

Guiding Questions include:

  • What connection to purpose, culture, and employer brand can we make for each type of talent source? (FTE, PTE, gig, external crowdsource, co-ops/interns, overlooked pools, etc.)
  • What connections do you have between workforce / work planning and TA and TR for attraction and retention?
  • What aspects of the War for Talent are the most challenging right now and will be in 2022?

Co-facilitated by i4cp Member Leaders Mike LeBrun, Senior Manager HR Strategy & Insights at Toyota North America, and Bryan Seaford, Talent Consultant at Chik-fil-A, this Exchange community group supports Workforce Planning leaders to be a strategic and influential partner to the business by leveraging best processes, trends, and technology to scale next practices.

This meeting is exclusively for members of the Workforce Planning Exchange. If you'd like to participate, please contact us to see if you qualify. If you are an i4cp member, please log in to access the registration/meeting details.
