The Impact of the SCOTUS Affirmative Action Decision

During the August 1st, 2023, virtual meeting, the i4cp Chief Diversity Officer Board hosted a panel to discuss the impact of the SCOTUS ruling on affirmative action. Panel participants included Jay Jamrog, Co-founder of i4cp and Futurist; Ted Shaw, Julius L. Chambers Distinguished Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Civil Rights; and Darrell Gay, Employment Attorney and Partner at ArentFox Schiff. The ranging conversation touched on recent legal and political attacks on affirmative action, DEI, and the role of the Chief Diversity Officer; as well as how we can help support our peers and share practices to help meet these challenges.
