We’re excited to be start off the new year with a very strong plan focused initially on Succession Management following up on your top priorities and interests identified in our meeting in last meeting.

We had a highly interactive discussion at that meeting led by i4cp Senior Research Analyst - Tom Stone. We discussed the various areas of Succession Management (SM) being considered for the survey that has just recently been in the field. During the January meeting, we heard the preliminary results.

At our last meeting you clearly identified topics related to SM and the corresponding importance to you in your work. Below are the topics and the corresponding percentage of votes from members:

We continued our meeting with a discussion with Andrew Stevens – Chief Talent Officer for Ball Corporation – the focus of a new Case Study by i4cp.   Andrew shared some of the innovative and successful tactics applied by Ball to advance their SM process and helped deliver valuable business results.

We followed these engaging segments with a discussion about the above topics and your interest in working together to advance the development of resources that will help you manage these in your SM work-flow.

Your ELDE Steering Committee – Mike Kessler, Christi Pines, Karen Paul and I appreciated your input and look forward to working together to advance Best-and-Next Practices in Executive and Leaders Development.
