Leadership and Team Effectiveness

Thank you to all who joined us for the May 2024 CHRO Board meeting. We were joined by Rob Cross and Katheryn Brecken, authors of the soon-to-be released Team Network Effect study, and had a robust discussion and shared many best practices from our board members. 

Rob and Katheryn shared their findings on the importance of effective collaboration and leadership practices in achieving successful team outcomes, with a focus on integrating newcomers, balancing collaboration overload, and maintaining strong external connections. They also explored the implementation of collaborative tools and practices across the organization. The discussion concluded with plans for future meetings to continue these discussions and the development of tools to evaluate team performance and address common team dysfunctions. 

The Chief HR Officer Board is reserved exclusively for the senior-most HR executive in organizations. It is designed to serve as a true Board of Directors for the function and ensure its members are in the driver seat of organizational innovation.
