Live Nation's VP HR: Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month, or as it is commonly referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. Shawn Imitates Dog, VP of Human Resources at Live Nation, is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and joined i4cp for this DE&I call.

Live Nation is committed to creating a diverse workplace that allows employees to be proud of who they are and the work that they do. By promoting a positive and supportive environment, while building community and offering education, networking and career development, Shawn empowers employees to bring their authentic selves to work.

One example of this is Shawn's involvement on the Board of Directors for VME (Veterans in Media and Entertainment) and executive sponsorship of the veterans employee resource group Hero Nation. He has played a role in advocating for veteran and active military employees at every level of their careers.

About the DEI Next Practices Monthly Series

The DE&I Next Practices Monthly series provides a forum for the DE&I leadership community to come together to discover and advance next practices. Each month, you’ll hear from Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leaders from some of the largest and most respected organizations in the world, learn about the latest i4cp research, and share and receive ideas from your peers. Based on the latest thinking from i4cp’s Chief Diversity Officer Board, these monthly calls are not webinars – they are open meetings – and are designed to help you navigate the next normal.

To ensure open discussion, this event is exclusively for HR practitioners. Vendors and consultants are not permitted to attend.
