Dutch Bros VP HR on Retaining Talent Through Culture and Employee Experience

As we near the end of the year, talent retention has become increasingly top-of-mind for employers. Sarah Hansen, Vice President of Human Resources, is fortunate that Dutch Bros Coffee has been fairly resistant to the Great Resignation / Talent Exodus. She attributes this resilience primarily to the company's employee experience and culture. Sarah joined i4cp to share insights on building strong relationships and empowering employees through flexibility and growth opportunities.

For those who are not familiar with Dutch Bros, the coffee chain was founded by two brothers who worked on their family's dairy farm and decided to sell coffee from pushcarts around town. Their motto is Make a difference, one cup at a time.” The company has expanded to 11 states, and just held its IPO & began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in September 2021.
