Exiting Employees & the Power of Alumni Networks

The i4cp’s Diversity and Inclusion Exchange October 2020 meeting will focus on DE&I through the lens of the employee journey. There is often opportunity to create more meaningful outcomes by looking at every element of the talent management process – from onboarding through off-boarding (and re-boarding) – and asking: how can we do this better to ensure we are really living inclusive and diverse values?

In this meeting, we will discuss how organizations with healthy cultures approach offboarding, build and maintain strong alumni networks, and create opportunities that make departing employees feel welcome to return.

About the Exchange

i4cp's Diversity & Inclusion Exchange provides a secure venue for a wide range of peer practitioners to engage in thought-provoking and innovative discussions focused on best and next practices. With an aim to help drive positive change and advancement in diversity, equity, and inclusion across i4cp member organizations, the Exchange will also inform broader ongoing i4cp research.

Exchange meetings are member-led virtual meetings between Exchange community working groups. The agendas are collectively determined based on members' current interests and priorities, along with discussion on the functional implications of recent research.

This meeting is exclusively for members of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Exchange. If you'd like to participate, please contact us to see if you qualify. If you are an i4cp member, please log in to access the registration/meeting details.
