CompenBot in ChatGPT
CompenBot is a conversation assistant that helps managers prepare for merit, bonus, and promotion conversations. Built in ChatGPT and grounded in real-world compensation logic, it walks users through the key factors that drive pay decisions—performance, budget, market value, time-in-role, and internal equity—so they can enter these conversations informed, prepared, and confident.
The tool is for managers; it serves as a just-in-time coach—clarifying reasoning, surfacing risks, and offering clear language to explain decisions.
Privacy Reminder
Assume content is public unless you’ve turned off ChatGPT history (see below) or are using an enterprise tool. Always follow your company’s AI usage policies.
- Turn off chat history in ChatGPT: Settings → Data Controls
- Use temporary chat (for ChatGPT Plus users) to avoid saving session data
