Scott Wilson
CFO
Meet Scott Wilson, the Chief Financial Officer at i4cp, where he oversees finance, accounting, and corporate operations as the company enters its next phase of growth with M|C Partners. Scott is focused on building the scalable financial infrastructure, systems, and teams needed to support i4cp's expanding membership, product portfolio, and advisory services.
Scott's finance career spans over two decades, with deep expertise in guiding PE-backed, high-growth companies through M&A execution, post-acquisition integration, and exit readiness. Most recently, as CFO of Lux Research, he led all G&A functions for a 175-person global research organization across eight countries, improving EBITDA margins 4x and executing a $40M acquisition with full integration in 90 days. He received the 2024 Bregal Sagemount CFO Award for financial operations excellence across all portfolio companies.
Before Lux Research, Scott served as VP of Finance at LogicManager, where he built the finance function from the ground up, closed credit facilities with JP Morgan, and established the company's first international entities. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance roles at Quick Base — where he helped lead a majority sale to Vista Equity Partners at a $1.2 billion valuation, resulting in 7x ROI — as well as Amazon, Backstage, and Nuance Communications. He began his career in public accounting at Grant Thornton.
Scott holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ithaca College, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts. When he's not building financial models, you'll find him running along the North Shore of Boston, rooting for the Celtics or skiing in Vermont.
