Executive Compensation and Governance

At the November meeting we dove into Executive Compensation and Governance with Ivor Solomon. Ivor was the Head of Total Rewards at Genentech, reporting to the CHRO. Ivor’s 30+ years of experience has seen him lead compensation and total reward functions at a number of global organizations including BP Oil, The Hay Group, The Coca-Cola Company, Getty Images, Amazon.com, AT&T, Starbucks Coffee Company, and Levi Strauss and Company. Ivor has a passion for trying to find new and innovative ways to define, design and deliver Total Rewards programs to employees – this has been his success at many of the companies at which he worked. Ivor is a native of Cape Town, South Africa where he graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA in Psychology and Social Anthropology.
