Heather Foust-Cummings Ph.D
Heather Foust-Cummings, PhD, is a senior research analyst at the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), where her work focuses on unearthing the data, insights, and people practices that drive high performance. She serves as the researcher for i4cp’s Future of Work executive board, working alongside HR leaders focused on unlocking the full potential of their talent and building workplaces for what’s next.
Before joining i4cp, Heather led a team that researched employee-engagement interventions, inclusive workplace cultures and leadership, and women and the future of work. Her own research has focused on top leadership teams, women in technology, and sponsoring high-potential talent effectively.
A sought-after speaker, she has presented to and helped hundreds of the world’s leading organizations and thousands of executives and employees across the globe on topics ranging from cultivating more inclusive teams to workforce readiness and leadership effectiveness.
She holds a Ph.D. and MA in Political Science and a Certificate in Women’s Studies from Emory University, and a BS in Political Science and Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After turning down an opportunity in Maine early in her career, she’s come full circle and now calls the state her home.
