Attrition Analysis

We had a great session on Attrition Analysis. If you are looking to impact your bottom line, here is a good place to start. Thirteen member companies, including more than 30 professionals, joined the discussion led by i4cp’s Patrick Murray. 

Highlights of the session: 

  • Offered an attrition analysis methodology developed for two organizations (manufacturing and insurance),
  • Described both qualitative and quantitative analysis practices,
  • Offered descriptive templates for how to collect raw data needed for attrition analysis,
  • Provided a sample fish bone tool used for retention/attrition analysis,
  • Describing a project scoping process and definitions for analysis,
  • Offered sample approaches to segment analysis,
  • Described a deep dive into critical segment analysis (such as for early leavers, and pay analysis)
  • Shared an innovative new approach to exit surveys and analysis,
  • Provided a sample cost of turnover analysis,
  • Shared a key tool and graphic for Journey Mapping of recommendations.
