Data Governance and Administration

We took a deeper dive into analytics and discuss the importance of data governance and administration. 

We considered the following questions in our discussion: 

  • When it comes to data where do you feel your organization is most at risk in managing and using data?
  • What data are you using for performance management and engagement and what data would you like to be using?
  • Data governance is the foundation to data-driven decision making. Yet, i4cp’s 2014 study on that topic revealed that more than one-half had no method of data governance whatsoever. Does your organization have a governance policy or council? If not, are you planning to develop one?
