Workforce Analytics Exchange November 2019 Virtual Meeting

Thank you to everyone that attended the meeting last week. To recap: we started the call by introducing Mary Amundson, WAE steering committee member and Director of HR for Land O’Lakes. We are excited to have you join the team! 

After a community update, we had a great presentation by Matt O’Connor and Danielle Wittorp from Owens Corning about their i4cp Next Practice case study How Owens Corning Used Robust Analytics to Improve Leadership Development. A great example of how analytics can advance your internal programs - and get other departments thinking about measuring for growth! They also shared how being a Next Practice applicant can help you promote your program internally. ( Apply here for this year’s award - deadline 11/30/2019). 

Rounding out the conversation we discussed what challenges are others facing as 2019 comes to a close - a universal truth was found in story telling with the data. How to share the D&I story or share a cost story to help set priorities for next year; collecting global data for global budgeting. How do you put your HR Analytics into business impact speech - as well as dashboards to empower HRBPs to be more in command of data to share with Business/Channel leaders. 

We will kick off 2020 in January with a discussion about your focus areas to help us drive a robust series of agendas.
