Skills Enablement via AI in a Post-Covid World
On June 22nd there was a special joint meeting with the i4cp People Analytics Board and i4cp Chief Learning & Talent Officer Board at which we dove more deeply into the impact of technology on the deconstruction of jobs.
We welcomed guest speakers from John & Johnson, Christina Norris-Watts, Ph.D., Head of Selection
Assessment and Competencies and Doug Shagam, Director, Strategic
Workforce Planning and Organizational Enablement. They talked with us
about Skills Enablement via AI in a Post-Covid World. They focused on the role of AI in the context
of major changes in the workforce resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. (Things
like the rapid redefinition of work, often around Machine Learning, robotics
and other technologies.) They also shared their experiences with innovative
AI-powered analytic techniques that address human capital challenges in the
post-Covid workforce, including emerging new roles and skill requirements.
