HRBP Development Cohort Webinar #1: People Analytics for HRBPs
Applying fact and data analysis to support decision-making in the HRBP role is expected and becoming more critical to success in that role. This people analytics for HR Business Partners webinar is targeted at building greater capabilities and understanding of when and how HRBPs can use analytics tools and resources.
The webinar was led by Jimmy Zhang, Head of People Strategy and Analytics at Vertex. Jimmy’s role includes responsibility for global talent insights, technology strategy, the HR project management office, strategic workforce planning, and employee listening.
Before joining Vertex, Jimmy held various leadership roles at Biogen, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Liberty Mutual. He has a broad HR background and a deep understanding of HR Business Partner responsibilities. Jimmy’s HR experience spans leadership roles in global HR operations, centralized learning services, talent analytics, strategic workforce planning, digital workplace, HR transformation, technology, leadership development and integrated HR solutions.
Jimmy holds a B.S. in Management and M.S. in Information Technology and M.B.A from Bentley University and M.S in Business Analytics from NYU Stern.
