Employee Experience Exchange Kick-Off Meeting

Thank you so much for the great dialogue on our first Employee Experience Exchange call! A special thank you to Kate Zimberg from F5 & Suzanne Vigeland from Humana for helping to lead the group in stellar discourse.

Continue the conversation – Next Steps

·       Connect 1:1 with an Exchange peer. We are working to populate each member onto the Employee Experience Exchange Webpage and you will see the group participants loaded there soon.

·       Our call left us with some open question that we want to address on the Expert Network. Please add any helpful attachments to share your examples in your post.

·       Take the Innovative Workplace Well-Being Survey by Friday, November 15 th.

·       Anything you want to discuss on future calls, or any feedback you’d like to provide? Please email Alyssa.McGaha@i4cp.com with your suggestions/feedback.

Headlines for your team – Share key take-aways

·       We encourage you to share relevant insights with your team. Consider sending these highlights from the call to your colleagues:

o   Structurally, the ownership for Employee Experience does not always sit within HR (but rather leverages HR for specific needs) – e.g., emergence of Chief Experience Officer

o   Employee Experience isn’t necessarily something “else” within HR – it is interdependent with cultural traits, EVPs, etc. The architecture of all of these elements has to be strategically thought through and constructed (to avoid redundancy, unproductive HR noise, and silo’d investing).

      • Favorite quote of the day: “You can win them on the promise, but you can lose them on the Experience”
    • Employee Experience should extend beyond current, dull-time employees – for myriad reasons relating to changes in labor markets – it should include alumni, gig workers, etc. (e.g., across the entire talent ecosystem)
    • “Experiences” should illicit emotions and feelings – and not necessarily have to be explicitly communicated in writing.
