CLTO board in person hero

The Evolution of Employee Expectations & Hybrid Work

It has been way too long since we’ve been able to meet in person.  We’re excited that so many of you were able to join us.  As promised, there was a strong focus on networking and discussion.

In the morning we had a member discussion concerning The Evolution of Employee Expectations. We asked each of you to share what you are learning about how expectations are changing in your organization.  We heard from Kari Naimon, research lead on i4cp’s most recent study:  The Business Case for Hybrid.  And we had a conversation with i4cp CEO Kevin Oakes, who’s been leading a series of sessions with thought leaders on Getting Hybrid Work Right

The afternoon featured a conversation with Elliott Masie about Where We Go From Here?  If you’ve read Masie Notes, you know Elliott is still asking all the best questions in our business.  We followed that with a member discussion about The Manager Playbook for the New Work. We asked you to share how you are supporting managers as they face the onslaught of changes they are contending with.  Then member Cameron Hedrick talked with us about his work on one of the critical issues you’ve identified: Creating a Skills Architecture. We closed with a brief review of current i4cp research plans and gave some direction on where we think it should focus in the future.

Attached are notes highlighting the key themes from the in-person board meeting.

This meeting is exclusively for members of the Chief Learning & Talent Officer Board. If you'd like to participate, please contact us to see if you qualify. If you are an i4cp member, please log in to access the registration/meeting details.
