Getting Our (TA) House in Order

John Vlastelica joined us to lead an interactive discussion - “Getting Our TA House in Order”.  John and I have been speaking this year about multiple topics and in our last discussion decided that the common theme is that they are all connected to finding the root issues in our TA organizations and the funnel.  We tackled the issues of Fixing the Middle of the TA Funnel, Beyond the Supply Side Challenge, Talent Team Design and Creating Talent Roadmaps beyond Executing the Annual Strategy.  NOTE: Please do not share his PDF outside of the TAB membership per request from John Vlastelica.

John Vlastelica is the Founder & Managing Director of Recruiter Toolbox.  He spent the first half of his career as a corporate recruiting leader with companies like Amazon and Expedia, and the last dozen years leading a consulting and training firm, Recruiting Toolbox, which focuses on helping companies optimize their recruiting functions, raise the bar on talent, elevate recruiters to Talent Advisors and improve Hiring Manager capabilities. Clients include start-ups to big global brands like PepsiCo, Adidas, SAP, Booking, Nestle, Disney, IKEA, Sephora, and Starbucks. John’s passion for talent acquisition is shared as an instructor for recruiting leadership labs, as an author of popular white papers and guides, a judge for recruiting excellence awards, and as a top-rated speaker at conferences around the globe. John is a part-time critic, part-time optimist, who has fallen in love with the problems we face in the talent space.

Thomas Stone, Senior Research Analyst at i4cp, spent time with us previewing our not yet released, ‘How to Avoid Collaboration Overload” research Part 4 of our collaboration series with Rob Cross. TA leaders touch all aspects of the business and HR, and in my opinion, are subject to collaboration overload more than other leaders. Tom’s deep insight into the subject and our research provided us with actionable ideas on how to stay focused and energized.
