Data Visualization

This month we had an hour long flash call on the topic of Data Visualization: More Think, Less Ink. We discussed a few questions including: 

- What is data visualization and why is it important to your function?

- What steps have you taken to enhance how data is displayed and communicated in your own work?

- What data visualization tools (such as scorecards, dashboards, reports, graphs, charts) are you using?

- What technologies are you using to simplify your data visualization and analytics?

- What are some tips for creating a successful dashboard or scorecard?

- What are some tips for delivering data in presentations to executives?

- In a presentation with data, how do you put the focus on "think and not ink"?

- In a meeting, what tips do you have to move your audience from data to action?
