Cecelia K. Wooden is a partner in Wooden & Associates, Inc. a firm providing strategic communications services to the arts, health care, businesses, insurance and education. Between 1990 and 1995, Cecelia served as Chief Administrative Officer for the Fund for the Arts, the oldest united arts fund in the country. She coordinated the operations of the organizational, government relations planning and coordinated the decision-making and distribution of over $5.6 million annually. Since 1985, Cecelia consults nationally on management issues as senior instructor for the Center for Creative Leadership (Greensboro, NC) and its' network affiliate, the Leadership Development Center (Peoria, IL). She facilitates workshops for senior management of Fortune 100 companies and has trained over 500 educators through the Distinguished Educator Program (KY) and the Gheens Professional Development Academy (KY).
Cecelia received her BS from Trenton State College and her MA in educational psychology from Montclair State College. She completed doctoral studies at Illinois State University.
